Clean Harbors in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Field Services Branch Manager to manage overall branch operations, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and efficient day-to-day management while driving growth and success for the company and its employees.

Clean Harbors is the leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. This role requires a strong sales aptitude to drive revenue growth and quoting while overseeing branch operations in the assigned geographic area.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Direct and optimize overall operations in the assigned geographic area.
  • Review operational reports, addressing operational problems, customer concerns, regulatory compliance, and safety issues.
  • Monitor overall branch performance, focusing on safety and environmental issues, and provide solutions to recurring problems.
  • Provide leadership and direction while maintaining a secure, respectful, and team-oriented workplace.
  • Ensure employees adhere to company goals, objectives, and core values, as well as government and industry regulations.
  • Conduct periodic field visits to inspect equipment and working environments.
  • Work closely with the District Manager to monitor safety statistics and ensure compliance with reporting procedures.
  • Aggressively market company services, seek growth opportunities, and maintain profitable customer relationships.
  • Prepare and enforce the annual budget, including cost controls, capital expenditures, and fleet additions.
  • Monitor repair and maintenance costs, taking corrective actions to maintain budget guidelines.
  • Oversee equipment and parts inventories, ensuring compliance with regulated certification requirements.
  • Perform annual performance reviews for all staff and identify niche markets to enhance profitability.
  • Direct weekly meetings to disseminate information and tasks effectively.
  • Participate in annual compensation recommendations, training, and bonus decisions for field and office staff.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
  • Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements.
  • Observe all corporate operating guidelines, environmental health, and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience creating and understanding budgets, including analysis and creation.
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain effective professional relationships.
  • Ability to lead and mentor in a team atmosphere while being a collaborative team member.
  • Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Ability to perform physical functions as required by the job.
  • Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, as required by the position.

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this role. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to the base salary, some roles may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation.
