Field Sales Specialist

About the role

The Field Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying business opportunities within the HVAC and Industrial Refrigeration market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval gasket plate heat exchangers’ services in Central USA. This is a position located in Indianapolis, IN or Kenosha, WI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans for target accounts within Commercial & Residential HVAC and Industrial Refrigeration.
• Discover new business opportunities in the HVAC and Refrigeration market & develop new business for heat exchangers service.
• Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.
• Collaborate with service operations team to provide superior customer experience.
• Perform energy saving evaluation using Alfa Laval tools and processes to help customers achieve their sustainability goals.
• Ownership of lead to fulfilment process including but not limited to:
  • Prospecting.
  • Negotiation.
  • Securing purchase orders.
• Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way to support the sales process and take decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Business preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in selling HVAC Service, Projects or Parts.
• Proven track record of building and expanding customer relationships.
• Knowledge of HVAC, cooling towers and/or chillers strongly desired.
• Aftermarket or distributor sales (representative management) experience is helpful.
• Travel availability 60%.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Preference for candidates residing in the US or with an established presence in the area.

Pay

The base salary for this role is typically between $80,000.00 to $100,000.00.
