About the Role
Phoenix Spirit Group provides flagging, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), and traffic control equipment and rental services to contractors and DOT projects across North and South Carolina. We're looking for a driven, competitive Field Sales Representative to manage and grow our business in the Carolina's. The ideal candidate will thrive on being out in the field, closing deals, and outworking the competition.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow an assigned book of business
- Proactively hunt and close new accounts while retaining and expanding existing relationships
- Visit active job sites and construction sites regularly to understand customer needs firsthand
- Coordinate with our in-house estimating team to deliver fast, accurate quotes to customers
- Represent PSG professionally in blue-collar, industrial, and DOT job site environment
Communication & Judgment
- Responds to time-sensitive requests with urgent; same-day turnarounds are the norm, not the exception
- Keeps a level head when something goes wrong on a job or an order, and knows how to de-escalate a frustrated customer into a satisfied one
Schedule & Location
- This position is open to candidates residing in North Carolina or South Carolina who are within a 60-mile commuting radius of one of our branch offices located in Charlotte, NC; Fayetteville, NC; New Bern, NC; Wilmington, NC; or Greenville, SC.
- Regular travel to customer sites and branch locations throughout both states is required.
- This is a road-based role. You'll spend 4 days per week in the field visiting customers and job sites, with 1 office day (Fridays) for admin, planning, and team coordination.

Job Requirements
- Comfortable working in a blue-collar, industrial setting
- Work boots and PPE are required and are standard daily attire
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while managing a structured weekly cadence (4 days field / 1 day office)
