Field Sales Representative – Account Representative – Baroid Mines

Job Duties

  • Makes sales calls and provides technical support to customers in a defined territory.
  • Prepares for and facilitates sales calls and documents outcomes.
  • Draws on knowledge of products and their capabilities to identify and troubleshoot/resolve basic customer issues independently.
  • May need to escalate/involve more senior team members for complex customer issues.
  • Provides feedback/insight on customer needs, competitors, technology, and other pertinent issues via CRM system/process.
  • Supports water wells and infrastructure projects.
  • Works with and calls on the distribution network in the region on a regular basis.
  • Works after normal business hours and on weekends.
  • Works in remote, high-altitude environments with exposure to changing weather conditions throughout the year.
  • Drives daily, adhering to company driving policies, vehicle operation, and maintenance requirements.
  • Obtains and maintains MSHA training for surface and underground operations.
  • Completes assigned mine-specific training as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with end users are key to maintaining and growing the business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
  • No previous work experience is required.
  • 75% of the job will be in the field providing BSS equipment and drilling fluids support on mining exploration, dewatering programs, surface, and underground drilling operations on active mine sites in Nevada and Intermountain Region.
  • Travel, including overnight stays, will be mandatory.
