Field Sales Manager
for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content. We have responsibilities (What You'll Do). We have experiences & skills (Your Experiences & Skills). We have Benefits. No explicit Pay or Schedule. So we should not include Pay or Schedule sections. Also maybe include About the role? The intro paragraph about Muncie Power could be considered About the role. It's not a heading but we can create About the role section with that content. The instruction: Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. So we can have About the role with the introductory paragraph. Then Responsibilities with bullet list of duties. Then Requirements? The posting includes "Your Experiences & Skills" which includes knowledge, degree, communication skills, etc. That could be Requirements or Qualifications or Skills. We need to decide which sections to use. The list of allowed headings includes Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We can combine. Probably we can have Requirements (education, experience) and Skills (specific skills). But we must not create thin sections. Better to have one section "Requirements" that includes education, experience, skills. Or we could have "Qualifications" and "Skills". But we need to avoid filler. Let's examine content: Your Experiences & Skills: - Knowledge of the heavy truck equipment industry is preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Fluid Power, Business, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent work experience and knowledge of relevant industry standards is required - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed; able to work independently and collaboratively within a team - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint - Proven success in field sales within a B2B (business-to-business) environment - Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required - Must possess a valid passport within 60 days of employment These are a mix of qualifications and skills. Could split: Requirements (education, experience, passport, travel) and Skills (communication, self-motivated, MS Office, proven success, industry knowledge). But we need to avoid too many thin sections. Perhaps we can have "Requirements" covering education, experience, passport, travel, and "Skills" covering communication, self-motivated, MS Office, proven success, industry knowledge. That seems reasonable. Benefits section: list benefits. We must not include Pay or Schedule. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, accommodation statement, etc. Remove those. We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include all bullet points from responsibilities and experiences/skills and benefits. We need to format responsibilities as
- . Similarly for requirements/skills/benefits.
We need to use
for prose. We must not include markdown fences. Let's craft HTML:

or drop it. We could add a short p after About the role maybe:
Location: Canada
. But it's minor. Might be okay to drop. Safer to drop. Check for any duplicated lines: none. Check for boilerplate: we removed EEO, accommodation statement, etc. Check for any mention of Pay or Schedule: none, so we omitted those sections. Check that we didn't invent content: all bullet points are from posting. Check that we didn't miss any responsibilities: we captured all bullet points from "What You'll Do". Let's verify original responsibilities list: - Develop and execute sales strategies that maximize market share and revenue growth within the Snow & Ice Division by expanding existing accounts and developing new business opportunities. - This role focuses on supporting and growing distribution channels, building strong relationships with customers and partners, and delivering system-based solutions tailored to customer needs. - The Field Sales Manager works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align products and services with market demands while meeting sales and performance objectives. - Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities within Canada. - Travel across Canada to promote and sell Muncie Power products, with an additional focus on Snow & Ice equipment and solutions. - Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned territory. - Conduct regular sales calls and visits to vocationally aligned accounts including OEMs, truck upfitters, distributors, and end users. - Plan travel itineraries and schedule meetings with OEMs, distributors, and key stakeholders to assess product needs and offer tailored solutions. - Develop and implement effective market strategies to increase brand visibility and product adoption. - Analyze market penetration using leads, market data, and customer feedback to identify trends and new opportunities. - Provide technical and product training to customers and partners to ensure proper usage and understanding of product capabilities. - Attend industry trade shows and events as needed to represent the company and generate leads. - Utilize company CRM systems and sales software to manage accounts, track opportunities, and report activities. - Educate customers on warranty policies and procedures to ensure clear understanding and proper claim handling. - Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support business objectives. - Develop a deep understanding of municipal procurement processes in the vocational truck market to effectively position the company for public sector business. - Provide quotes, proposals, and bid support, especially for government procurement processes. - Collaborate closely with the Technology Solutions Group to develop customized product offerings tailored to customer needs. We captured all except maybe the sentence "This role focuses on supporting and growing distribution channels, building strong relationships with customers and partners, and delivering system-based solutions tailored to customer needs." We made a bullet: "Support and grow distribution channels, build strong relationships with customers and partners, and deliver system-based solutions tailored to customer needs." Good. Also "Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities within Canada." We have bullet: "Report to the Vice President of Sales and Customer Service; oversee all sales activities within Canada." Good. Also "The Field Sales Manager works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align products and services with market demands while meeting sales and performance objectives." We have bullet: "Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align products and services with market demands while meeting sales and performance objectives." Good. All good. Now experiences & skills: we split into Requirements and Skills. Let's verify we captured all: Original list: - Knowledge of the heavy truck equipment industry is preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Fluid Power, Business, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent work experience and knowledge of relevant industry standards is required - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed; able to work independently and collaboratively within a team - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint - Proven success in field sales within a B2B (business-to-business) environment - Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required - Must possess a valid passport within 60 days of employment We placed knowledge of heavy truck industry in Requirements (preferred). Bachelor's degree in Requirements. Willingness to travel internationally in Requirements. Valid passport in Requirements. Communication skills, self-motivated, MS Office, proven success in Skills. Good. Benefits list: we captured all bullet points from Benefits section: Original: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, and zero card Life, death, dismemberment, and dependent insurances Prescription drug programs Telehealth Short-term and long-term disability, and flexible leaves of absence Employee assistance
