Field Sales Engineer - North America

Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Work closely with customer service teams and worldwide manufacturing sites
  • Conduct contract negotiations with business partners
  • Address all related commercial aspects of silicon foundry customers
  • Match customer needs and goals to solutions and capabilities
  • Maintain market awareness, conduct trend analysis, incorporate customer feedback, and provide reports to Technology and Marketing departments
  • Collaborate with field application engineers to align customer needs with foundry capabilities

Job requirements

  • Proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in a business environment
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proven team member and self-starter
  • Professional attitude with interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with customers on all levels of an organization
  • Proven track record of successful sales
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals professionally
  • Experience managing large multi-national customer accounts

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in EE, Physics, Engineering, or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales
