About the role
The Field Safety Representative is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines in the field operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Train team members on safety protocols and procedures.
- Document incidents and near-misses to improve safety practices.
- Coordinate with local authorities and contractors to address safety concerns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a safety-related field.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- First aid certification.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
- Experience with incident reporting systems.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR.
