  • Multi-Site Safety Oversight: Standardize safety procedures, hazard tracking, and EHS performance metrics across all regional office warehouses, physical locations, and temporary muster sites
  • Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis: Lead detailed investigations into vehicle accidents, near-misses, and electrical/field safety incidents using TapRooT, 5-Whys, or similar methodologies to implement definitive corrective actions
  • Field Audits & Safety Coaching: Conduct unannounced high-voltage and field safety audits, mentoring crews on standard work practices, PPE compliance (FR clothing, rubber goods), and dynamic risk assessments
  • EHS Training Delivery: Direct comprehensive technical safety training including regular utility updates, defensive driving, storm staging procedures, and annual compliance refreshes

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive safety management experience within electrical utilities, power line construction, or heavy utility infrastructure environments
  • Storm Response: Documented experience managing field safety during emergency storm logistics or large-scale utility restoration projects
  • Fleet Management Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of FMCSA regulations, commercial fleet safety, telematics, and DOT driver qualification files
  • Certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) highly preferred. OSHA 30-Hour Construction card and current CPR/First Aid Instructor certification required
