Field Representative - Michigan

In this role, you'll serve as a professional canvasser, engaging voters through face-to-face conversations in neighborhoods across Michigan. Earn $21-$25 per hour, plus bonuses, while making an impact in communities across Michigan supporting Republican candidates until November.

About the role

Canvass America is hiring motivated individuals to join our Michigan field team. As a Canvasser, you'll engage voters through face-to-face conversations, provide campaign-approved information, and accurately record voter responses using a mobile app. This is not a sales position. We believe meaningful conversations drive civic engagement and help inform voters. If you enjoy meeting new people, working independently, and making an impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Paid training provided, opportunities for advancement, and flexible scheduling. You can work 40+ hours and earn overtime.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Canvass America and our client by engaging voters through meaningful, face-to-face conversations.
• Educate voters using campaign-approved materials and answer questions professionally.
• Accurately collect and record voter responses using our mobile canvassing app.
• Meet daily outreach goals while maintaining quality conversations and professionalism.
• Walk assigned neighborhoods safely and efficiently throughout your shift.
• Participate in paid training and work closely with your Regional Director to ensure success.
• Help strengthen grassroots efforts by connecting directly with voters across Michigan.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned turf.
• Comfortable walking and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage people from all backgrounds professionally and respectfully.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing an assigned territory.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation, timekeeping, and data collection.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to representing Canvass America professionally.
• Previous canvassing, customer service, political campaign, or community outreach experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.
