Field Representative II
About the role
We are seeking a CEI Inspector to join our team in Miami, FL, to lead and work on various FDOT projects in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area.
Responsibilities
- Reads contract plans, specifications, shop drawings, and regulatory agency manuals.
- Observes milling and resurfacing operations.
- Observes construction activities such as trench excavation, pipe placement, backfill operations, pile driving, structure placement, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, signalization and lighting, etc.
- Performs density and asphalt tests; samples and verifies certification of materials.
- Reviews shop drawings within your area of expertise, logs and reports materials.
- Affords assistance in directing and teaching the daily activities of less experienced staff.
- Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
Requirements
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) plus ten years related experience OR an Associate degree in a related technical field plus eight years related experience is required.
- FDOT experience is strongly preferred.

Pay
Expected compensation range is between $95,000.00 - $96,512.00 annually/hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
