Responsibilities

  • Monitor product field performance and identify trending issues.
  • Triage emerging trends and develop failure hypotheses using engineering principles.
  • Cook up corrective actions in production/design/supplier/firmware based on hardware and mechanical engineering knowledge.
  • Communicate field performance and gather buy-in from engineering leadership on improvement priorities.
  • Provide feedback to design owners for continuous improvement in product performance and reliability.
  • Participate in design reviews to mitigate risks associated with product performance and manufacturability.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in power electronics hardware design and testing.
  • Experience navigating software/firmware tools to identify failure modes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use tools and applications for data management and interpretation.

Preferred

  • Preferred experience with inverters, EV batteries, and DC Fast charging systems.
