Essential Job Functions

  • Optimize Inspire access and minimize reimbursement barriers for patients and providers.
  • Build relationships with providers, providers' offices, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, hospital outpatient facilities, and other stakeholders.
  • Engage with new accounts for billing and coding training, audit education, and program review support.
  • Communicate coverage challenges across specific payer channels with guidance on navigating and minimizing those potential hurdles.
  • Execute on access and reimbursement strategic priorities, working with business partners to identify and prioritize key accounts.
  • Develop reimbursement presentations for site visits, trainings, client presentations, and other meetings.
  • Stay updated on market dynamics and industry trends impacting CMS and commercial payers.
  • Manage additional responsibilities based on organizational needs.
  • Build a culture of compliance that ensures all activities align with company procedures and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or healthcare administration.
  • 7+ years of experience in reimbursement/market access and/or successful experience with complex insurance payer claims, denials, and appeals (Medicare and commercial).
  • Demonstrated knowledge in coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices across the healthcare landscape.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interface with customers, cross-functional partners, and internal reimbursement and prior authorization partners.
  • Independent and team-oriented problem-solving and diligent self-motivation.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders and managing projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Implantable medical device experience.
  • Coding certification (CPC, COC).

Salary Range

The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The salary range is $160,000—$190,000 USD.
