Field Quality & Control Tower Engineer

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross-functional project meetings
• Compile project status reports
• Cook up project schedules
• Cook up project agendas
• Cook up meeting minutes
• Cook up correspondence
• Identify and analyze system requirements
• Define project scope, requirements, and deliverables
• Lead the resolution of warranty related issues
• Accountable for problem solving process, proposed solution, validation, and weekly progress
• Triage warranty claims review, sorting claims and bucketing
• Support Stellantis/Suppliers review at Quality Engineering Center and Manufacturing locations
• Establish & validate containment & permanent actions at Stellantis / Supplier Plants

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc) in Mechanical Engineering from accredited University
• 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering
• 2 + years of experience in testing/validation/test method development, including fixture design, instrumentation, data acquisition, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
• Well-rounded automotive knowledge and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and able to manage unionized workforce
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel and Project
• Working knowledge of Teamcenter
• Working knowledge of GD&T and understanding full detail on drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's in Engineering
• Shainin RedX Black Belt Green Belt / Kepner Tregoe Design for Six Sigma Project Management
