Field Preventative Maintenance Technician

About the role

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking immediate hires for a Field Service Technician position. This role is field-based and requires 6 months of mechanical experience or enrollment in an accredited technical institute. Intermediate experience in diesel oil changes and lube, with preventive maintenance experience, is also required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance services such as checking fluid levels, changing oil, and lubricating a wide range of construction rental equipment.
• Absorb and gain familiarity with electronic parts and service manuals.
• Aid technicians in performing routine maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
• Assist with the navigation of electronic parts and service manuals.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure the continuous flow of equipment.

Requirements

• Intermediate experience in diesel oil changes and lube, with preventive maintenance experience.
• Ability to navigate electronic parts and service manuals.
• Gain familiarity with Material Management System.
• DOT medical card required.
• Desire to learn and grow.
• Unrestricted driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High quality control.

Qualifications

Pay

Pay range is dependent on experience, ranging from $21.45 to $26.80 per hour.

Schedule

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7AM to 4PM.
