About the role

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) seeks individuals to assist in collecting data for the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), a partnership that has been ongoing for 50 years.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing livestock and crop entities of all sizes to gather information for projects such as the Census of Agriculture, farm activity studies, and crop counts.
• Working flexible schedules including evenings and weekends, with no guaranteed number of hours.
• Performing tasks related to data collection and analysis using computers or iPads.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Knowledge of computers or iPads.
• Passing a background check.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, a sales background, or farming knowledge.
• Time management skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail.

Benefits

• An hourly wage starting at $17.75+ per hour, with supplies provided and mileage reimbursement.
