Field Operations Technician III, II, I

About the role

This position is responsible for participating in the installation, maintenance and repair of the water distribution system, locating underground water lines, providing service to customers in the field, participating in meter reading operations and inspection of water infrastructure. This position will respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Experience in water utility operations preferred

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water distribution systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to perform field work including lifting and bending

Skills

• Computer literacy
• First aid/CPR certification
