Field Operations Manager

About the role

S&K Building Services is growing and seeking a driven, hands‑on leader to serve as Operations Manager. In this role you will own daily operations—from dispatch to quality control, training to safety—and be the driving force behind how work gets done and how teams succeed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and job coordination.
• Keep safety at the forefront by conducting site visits and enforcing company standards.
• Train, coach, and develop technicians to perform at their best.
• Drive accountability and performance across the team.
• Ensure top‑tier quality on every job, every time.
• Manage inventory, equipment, and shop organization.
• Track job progress, handle reschedules, and maintain clear communication.
• Review completed work to ensure accuracy and readiness for invoicing.
• Support strong customer relationships through consistent execution and service.
• Jump into the field when needed to support the team and get the job done.

Requirements

• 2+ years of operations, field service, or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and job‑site best practices.
• Proven ability to train teams and hold people accountable.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• High level of organization and follow‑through.
• Comfort with scheduling systems, inventory tracking, and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be in the field regularly.

Pay

Competitive pay of $75,000 – $85,000, paid weekly.
