Field Operations Manager

About the role

The Field Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day management and operation of the Water System's field teams, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to the community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of water distribution systems
• Manage and train field staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues and complaints
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in water utility operations or related field
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems
• Experience with water quality testing and monitoring
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
