Field Operations Manager
Responsibilities
- Deploy and coordinate installation crews and subcontractors across active jobs to meet committed customer install dates.
- Cook up pre installation site reviews to confirm measurements, product orders, and site conditions match the sold scope of work.
- Monitor daily job progress across multiple concurrent sites, resolving scheduling conflicts, material shortages, and crew availability issues before they delay an install.
- Sequence multi trade jobs, such as bath conversions requiring plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, to eliminate downtime between trades.
- Perform in progress and final quality inspections on windows, entry and patio doors, bath systems, and siding to verify adherence to manufacturer installation guidelines and company quality standards.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, permit requirements, and manufacturer warranty conditions.
- Identify and document installation defects, callbacks, and rework needs, and drive each one to timely resolution.
- Maintain job site safety standards, including OSHA compliance, proper use of PPE, ladder and scaffold safety, and safe material handling.
- Supervise in house installation crews and manage relationships with subcontracted crews, including onboarding, training, and evaluating installers on technique, safety protocols, and company standards.
- Communicate daily job assignments, expectations, and scope changes to crews before work begins, and address performance, workmanship, or conduct issues directly.
- Track key field metrics such as install completion rates, callback and rework rates, crew productivity, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Report recurring quality or scheduling issues to leadership, recommend process improvements, and participate in operations meetings to align on pipeline volume, crew capacity, and upcoming installation schedules.
- Escalate and resolve customer complaints tied to installation quality, timeliness, or crew conduct, protecting referral potential and online review ratings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, or home improvement installation, with windows, doors, siding, or bath systems strongly preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience managing installation crews or subcontractors.
- Working knowledge of installation best practices, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes and permitting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple job sites and crews at the same time without losing control of schedule or quality.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across sales, warehouse, crews, and homeowners.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel between job sites daily within the assigned territory.
- Ability to visit active installation sites in varying weather conditions, climb ladders, access rooftops and upper floors, and inspect installations at height.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including materials, tools, and product samples, as needed.
Role Overview
The Field Operations Manager owns day to day installation execution at Bee Window, covering windows, doors, bath systems, and siding, from job ready handoff through final walkthrough. This role is accountable for every job being installed on schedule, to manufacturer specification, and to the quality standard homeowners expect, protecting both the warranty and the referral pipeline the business runs on. This role reports directly to the VP of Operations and is the field's main link between the office, including sales, operations, and the warehouse, and the crews on site.

Compensation
$85,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience, with a competitive annual percentage bonus.
