Field Readiness and Preparation

Support the execution of detailed field plans for Electric Reservoir Stimulation (ERS) pilots, including mobilization, pre-ERS operations, equipment staging, field operations, and demobilization.

Work with both the R&D team and the engineering team to translate pilot objectives and tests into practical field work plans.

Coordinate field readiness across site hosts/clients, internal engineering, vendors, and subcontractors.

Help identify field constraints early, including: access, power, water, pressure-control needs, lifting/handling requirements, and permitting/regulations.

Aid in preparing the proper permits.

Responsible for ensuring that required equipment, tools, spares, instrumentation, consumables, PPE, vehicles, rentals, and support services are available.

Build and maintain equipment lists and packing lists for mobilization.

Support building timelines and Gantt charts. Track performance vs planned timelines.

Logistics and Mobilization/Demobilization:

  • Own pilot logistics from pre-mobilization through demobilization, including equipment preparation, shipping, site delivery, travel scheduling, lodging, rental vehicles, and field crew coordination.
  • Carefully coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for equipment rentals, equipment deliveries, testing services, and other field support.
  • Own the field-level schedule during pilot execution and maintain a clear view of critical path activities.

Day to Day Field Leadership

Serve as the primary day-to-day field lead during ERS pilot execution.

Run daily field activities, including morning planning, task assignments, schedule reviews, contractor coordination, daily reports, and end-of-day progress updates.

Proactively identify delays and required decisions.

Manage a small field team of approximately 1-4 people, including Eden personnel/technicians and contractors.

Act as the on-site point of contact for Eden during field execution, escalating technical, safety, schedule, or commercial issues as needed.

Own the field-level schedule during pilot execution and maintain a clear view of critical path activities.

Responsible for knowing how to troubleshoot electrical issues by having basic knowledge of electrical principles including currents, volts, circuits, and power.

Support cost tracking for field-related expenses, including equipment, rentals, contractors, and travel.

Participate in/lead daily safety meetings, hazard analyses, and stop-work discussions.

Confirm that field personnel have the required safety training and understand site rules, PPE requirements, emergency procedures, exclusion zones, and equipment-specific hazards.

Maintain organized field records, including daily activity reports, equipment status, contractor reports, and test data.
