Field/Operations Internship Program - Summer 2027

About the role

White Cap’s Summer 2027 internship program offers hands-on experience in operations, warehouse management, distribution, production, and other departments across multiple branch locations nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Perform designated tasks and assignments to understand business functional needs.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improvements on business functions.
• Assist other associates with assigned tasks, using these interactions to gain information, insight, and experience.
• Produce findings and draw conclusions from analyses; make oral and written recommendations to management.
• Execute tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
• Communicate issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
• Assist in research or special projects in a variety of areas to fulfill business initiatives and meet objectives.

Nature and Scope

Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor. Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Currently pursuing a college degree.
• Demonstrated superior academic performance and strong analytical skills.
• Solid track record of results-oriented leadership.
