Field Operations Foreman

About the role

This position manages the installation, maintenance, and repair of the water distribution system and reservoir infrastructure. Responsibilities include locating underground water lines, providing service to customers in the field, participating in meter reading operations, or inspecting water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of the water distribution system and reservoir infrastructure.
• Locate underground water lines.
• Provide service to customers in the field.
• Participate in meter reading operations or inspection of water infrastructure.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of related experience in water utility operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with water distribution systems and reservoirs.
• Knowledge of water utility operations and safety protocols.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and vehicles.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and maps.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.

Pay

$X per hour, depending on experience.
