Responsibilities

  • Oversees day-to-day, on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provides management for contractors, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensures that all work aligns with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for field operations and plays a critical role in the successful delivery of construction projects.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, planning, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the construction field management or construction site supervision required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, planning, or a related field preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in the construction field, management, or construction site supervision preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing construction projects from start to finish required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment required.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations, building systems in laboratory & healthcare environments (i.e. mechanical/electrical/plumbing/enclosure) required.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications required.
  • General knowledge of the LEED certification process or similar environmental design standards, as well as long-range capital planning required.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.

Skills

  • OSHA-10, OSHA-30 certifications required within 6 months of hire.
  • Certified Health Care Constructor, Infection Control Risk Assessment preferred.

$70,197.00 - $105,295.00
