Field Management Superintendent
About the role
A Project Superintendent will be responsible for on-site supervision of all construction activities for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA. The Project Superintendent will:
- Focus on field execution, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality control, and schedule adherence.
- Work closely with the Project Manager while serving as the primary on-site leader and point of contact for subcontractors and inspectors.
- Oversee construction and TI (tenant improvement) projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Cover coordination and management inspections with Los Angeles County jurisdictions and local agencies.
- Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Conduct daily site walks to monitor quality, progress, and site conditions.
- Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and coordination challenges in real time.
- Manage site logistics, phasing, and sequencing, particularly in occupied or operational facilities.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and field documentation using Procore.
- Lead subcontractor meetings, toolbox talks, and coordination meetings.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar curriculum and 6 years of demonstrated construction superintendent experience.
- AA/AS degree and 8 years of relevant experience.
- HSD/GED and 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a strong focus on interior renovations and tenant improvement projects, core and shell construction and general commercial construction.
- Proven experience managing field operations in Los Angeles County, including familiarity with local inspection and permitting processes.
- Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills.
- Experience working in occupied buildings and phased construction environments.
- Proficiency with CMIC, Bluebeam, BIM or other similar field management tools.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methods, and building systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
