Physical Demands

Occasionally crawl, kneel & balance.
Climb.
Frequently reach above shoulder level, crouch.
Continuously bend, squat, push/pull equipment.
Frequently carry loads up to and including 24 lbs.
Frequently lift loads up to and including 24 lbs.
Requires being around moving machinery.

Hazardous Conditions

Exposure to marked changes in temperature/humidity.
Driving automotive equipment.
Exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.

Required Skills

• Valid Driver's License, CDL preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers.
• Ability to clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, clean up rubble and debris.
• Ability to assist other craft workers.
• Ability to signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Ability to control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.
• Ability to lubricate and clean equipment and tools.
