About the Role

The Field Inventory Auditor ensures the accuracy and integrity of Acumed field inventory by conducting regular audits at sales agent locations. This role requires product knowledge, proficiency with inventory tools, and collaboration with internal and external teams to maintain accurate inventory records and batch traceability.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly field inventory site audits to ensure accuracy of consigned inventories.
• Collaborate with sales leadership, field agents, sales operations, and finance to complete inventory audits on time.
• Coordinate and conduct physical inventory counts in territories (sales rep trunk stock, hospitals, agent offices, and warehouses).
• Analyze audit discrepancies and communicate results to sales partners and managers to locate unaccounted inventory.
• Ensure reconciliation adjustments meet company variance thresholds and enforce inventory loss policies.
• Execute physical inventory reconciliation in SAP and report results to the Agent Inventory team and Finance.
• Review consignment set locations to verify asset accountability and update location details.
• Collaborate with the Audit team to define auditing schedules and maintain inventory controls and traceability.
• Engage with field sales partners to review inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices, providing training and support as needed.
• Provide routine count status and activity reports.
• Support other departments (Agent Inventory, Loaners, Logistics) when not conducting field counts.
• Assist with other sales operations activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with ERP systems using inventory data and metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external partners.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to collaborate across functional lines.
• High attention to detail and professionalism.
• Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to complete critical tasks urgently.
• Sound judgment to independently research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to adapt in a changing environment and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); SAP experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Credentialing

This role requires frequent visits to hospitals. The incumbent must obtain hospital-required credentials, which may include:

• National Background Check
• Product/Service Training
• HIPAA Training
• MMR, Hep B Vaccinations, TB Skin Test, Varicella, Influenza, Covid-19
• General Expectations & Hospital Safety
• Government Watch List
• Sign-off on General Policies
