Field Installation Manager

The Field Installation Manager leads and develops Systems Engineers, Lead Installers, Installation Technicians, and Installation Support Personnel. This role ensures installation teams have the training, tools, equipment, and support needed to perform safely, efficiently, and at a high level. Working closely with PMO and Service Operations, the Field Installation Manager manages staffing, scheduling, performance, and resource allocation so Project Managers can focus on project execution and customer deliverables. This role is accountable for labor utilization, workforce readiness, productivity, installation quality, schedule adherence, employee development, and margin improvement across installation operations.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage all Systems Engineers, Lead Installers, Installation Technicians, and Installation Support Personnel.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development guidance.
- Develop and maintain technical training programs to improve installation quality, efficiency, and professional growth
