Responsibilities
- Follow safe work practices and promote company Core Values
- Promote employee engagement and retention
- Support site leadership in implementing annual engagement plans
- Conduct designated site location investigations and provide HR updates
- Administer leave requests and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Facilitate performance feedback meetings and maintain accurate records
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing priorities
- Operate various equipment safely and efficiently
- Resolve issues promptly and organize team-building activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field (preferred)
- 7+ years of Human Resource experience in progressively responsible roles (will be considered in lieu of degree)
- PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification or equivalent (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience administering HR policies in industrial or manufacturing settings
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaborative skills
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Practical understanding of human resources policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Tactful, professional demeanor with ability to interact effectively with all parties
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, record-keeping, time management, and follow-up skills
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work under pressure
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proactive and ethical work ethic
- Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office applications
