Responsibilities

  • Follow safe work practices and promote company Core Values
  • Promote employee engagement and retention
  • Support site leadership in implementing annual engagement plans
  • Conduct designated site location investigations and provide HR updates
  • Administer leave requests and ensure compliance with labor laws
  • Facilitate performance feedback meetings and maintain accurate records
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing priorities
  • Operate various equipment safely and efficiently
  • Resolve issues promptly and organize team-building activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field (preferred)
  • 7+ years of Human Resource experience in progressively responsible roles (will be considered in lieu of degree)
  • PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification or equivalent (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience administering HR policies in industrial or manufacturing settings

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaborative skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Practical understanding of human resources policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Tactful, professional demeanor with ability to interact effectively with all parties
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, record-keeping, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proactive and ethical work ethic
  • Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
