National salary range: $55,000 – $90,000. State-specific ranges:

• California: $70,304 – $90,000
• Washington: $80,169 – $90,000
• New York: $62,354 – $90,000
• Colorado: $57,500 – $90,000

About the role

Coordinates planning, administration, training, and enforcement of the facility’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) program to ensure compliance with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and assess risk to HSE; involve individuals to determine appropriate safety controls and provide advice on accident prevention and occupational health to management and employees.
• Promote occupational health and safety awareness throughout the assigned facility.
• Conduct ongoing safety inspections of facilities, operations, and equipment to ensure compliance and a safe working environment for associates.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Implement standard HSE support using common tools provided by the Operations Excellence HSE Team.
• Conduct all necessary HSE training, including new hire safety training and other on-site trainings required for both hourly and management associates.
• Review SOPs and observe site roles to develop Job Safety Analysis for each role within the assigned site.
• Facilitate incident investigations and root cause analysis for sites; present findings to the Safety Manager and/or Functional Safety team to partner on corrective actions.
• Assist the Regional and/or Campus HSE Managers with Safety Improvement Plan implementations as necessary.
• Assist the Regional or Campus HSE Manager with start-ups, as needed.
• Monitor and provide expertise and assistance on the Logics Incident Module.
• Identify improvement opportunities for the site and support continuous improvement processes.
• Actively participate on assigned teams and/or projects, including the site Health & Safety Committee and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene, or related field or equivalent experience (1–3 years of direct/dedicated safety experience), required.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene, or related field, preferred.
• 1+ years of safety experience (e.g., administration of site-based OSHA/DOT programs), required.
• OSHA or similar Safety Certification, preferred.
