Responsibilities
- Cook and manage drilling projects
- Coordinate and review laboratory testing
- Prepare geotechnical reports, or pertinent sections thereof
- Perform routine calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, slope stability, etc.
- Design and prepare construction plans for retaining walls and other structures under the supervision of senior staff
- Perform observation and testing services for geotechnical and construction observation and testing projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology required; EIT preferred
- Own Transportation, valid driver's license and Good Driving Record
- Willing and able to work the hours necessary to meet the demands of the workload or to complete any assigned projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Slide2 and VESPA design software experience preferred
