Field Foreman

Brief Description

Lee Drywall, Inc., a Commercial Drywall Contractor based in Ft Myers, FL, is a DFWP and EOE workplace offering a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Stucco, Lath & Bead, EIFS Foreman.

Job Functions

• Understanding blueprints, budgets, and other job specifications
• Knowledge in different applications, textures, and methods
• Knowledge of materials used and methods of proper installation
• Meeting with Field Superintendent to obtain necessary documents, budgets, plans, specifications, conditions, time, and labor schedules
• Conducting daily job meetings to ensure work is done correctly and on schedule
• Ordering materials and equipment in a timely manner for the job
• Directing all manpower on the jobsite and coordinating labor daily
• Conducting site inspections for safety hazards
• Making sure all employees meet OSHA requirements and are working safely
• Reviewing and approving timecards for payroll processing
• Able to pay attention to detail and solve problems effectively

Requirements

• Wearing proper protective clothing: long pants, shirt with sleeves, hard sole shoes or boots, hard hat, and safety glasses
• Repetitive movement: standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, crawling, walking, bending, twisting, working in cramped workspaces, and getting into awkward positions while using safety equipment
• Climbing ladders, scaffolds, or poles
• Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects for tools or controls of equipment
• Lifting objects up to 100 lbs or more
• Able to work at different heights using safety equipment
• Exposure to sounds and noise levels
• Working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions, including very hot humid (above 90 F degrees) temperatures
• Exposure to contaminants and hazardous equipment
