Field Enumerator - Curry County, NM & Surrounding areas
About the role
The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated Field Enumerator to support data collection across local communities. NASDA is a nonpartisan, nonprofit association that represents the elected and appointed commissioners, secretaries, and directors of the departments of agriculture in all fifty states and four U.S. territories. Founded in 1916, our mission is to grow and enhance American agriculture through policies, partnerships, and public engagement. Since 1972, NASDA has employed enumerators to collect agricultural data on behalf of the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). As a Field Enumerator, you play an important role in supporting agricultural producers by collecting accurate, reliable, and confidential data used to inform agricultural programs and decision-making. Many surveys are completed remotely from home; some require in-person visits using a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license (mileage reimbursed). No two days look exactly the same, offering variety, independence, and community engagement.
