Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day field execution activities under direction of the Construction Manager
- Cookordinate contractor activities through Field Supervisors to align with approved schedules and work plans
- Participate in site walk downs, lead construction and progress meetings
- Verify actual field construction progress against drawings, specifications, and work packages
- Identify execution risks and escalate issues proactively
- Actively support site safety programs and contractor safety compliance
- Participate in hazard identification, job safety meetings, and field observations
- Verify that contractors are working in accordance with approved safety plans, permits, and procedures
- Model and reinforce safe work behavior in the field
- Immediately escalate unsafe conditions or non compliance
Project Controls & Documentation
- Maintain accurate field documentation including: Daily reports, Quantities and installed progress, Inspection and verification records
- Support cost and schedule tracking by validating work completed
- Aid in change identification and documentation
- Support forecasting, reporting, and close out documentation as required
Contractor Interface & Verification
- Interface directly with contractors to: Clarify scope, drawings, and specifications
- Verify progress and completion of work
- Identify variances or non-conformance
- Track contractor performance against approved plans
- Communicate observations, risks, and recommendations to project leadership
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a liaison between field operations, engineering, project controls, and management
- Review and contribute feedback to progress reports and coordination meetings
- Escalate issues clearly, factually, and in a timely manner
