FIELD ENGINEER VENTILIATIONDESIGNER 4

About the role

Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, CAD, CAM or CATIA. Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal. Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.

• Captures design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience -or- Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years experience.
• Nice to have: Excellent verbal skills, Competent in software (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Shipconstructor, ARAS and NavisWorks).
• Familiar with ship specifications and a working knowledge of ship ventilation construction.
• LHA 8 Design Experience preferred.

Qualifications

Must have:
