A Day in the Life
This position plays a crucial role in our construction projects. Here’s what a typical day looks like:
- Work with superintendents and foremen to learn building fundamentals and codes
- Aid superintendents and project managers with project budgeting, bidding, buyouts, procurement logs, RFIs, and certifications of occupancies
- Provide input in Pre and 1st Installation Verification meetings with trade partners
- Complete procurement logs and submittals in a timely manner
- Promote, enforce, and train trade partners on Graham’s safety policies
- Conduct safety walks and report findings
- Work closely with superintendents and project managers to learn labor and material reports and accurately analyze available money and manpower for specific work activities
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, and Outlook
- Maintain great relationships with owners/clients, architects, trade partners, and other industry representatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Duties

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management/related degree (preferred), associate’s degree in construction management or equivalent field experience
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass post-offer employment testing
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug test
- Must be able to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather
- Ability to take and pass OSHA 30 certification
- Must be able to work within one of Graham Construction’s operational areas as assigned
