Job Summary

The Field Engineer will support the Construction Manager and Project Manager by implementing project-specific tasks such as RFI's, Submittals, Transmittals, Quality Control, Quality Inspection, Minor Electrical, Testing, and ensuring craft workers adhere to drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include managing quality control records, scheduling audits/inspections, assisting with material inventory, and final job closeout tasks.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma
  • Basic Accounting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to find solutions to problems and work in a team-oriented manner
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering-Construction Management or equivalent, but not required
  • One to five years' experience with field activities and quality control
  • View Point skills preferred

Physical Skills

  • Regularly required to read, write, talk, and hear
  • Sit, stand, walk short and long distances, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds occasionally
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Drive a vehicle regularly
  • Work up to 14 hours daily occasionally
  • Work up to 14 days consecutively occasionally
  • Regularly exposed to various weather conditions
