Field Engineer Intern
What You Will Be Doing
- Aid in evaluating field conditions and conducting acceptance tests
- Support quality assurance and quality control engineering, including materials testing
- Utilize survey knowledge to assist with project layout and work verification
- Review project drawings and coordinate design changes
- Assist with document control for correspondence, submittals, and design releases
- Initiate engineering design clarifications
- Perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis to optimize operations
- Update and maintain project schedules, interacting with all relevant parties in scheduling decisions
- Respond to field inquiries for design clarification and manage subcontractor field operations
- Provide design assistance to the project engineer for temporary structure design using computer-aided design tools

- Currently enrolled in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related program at an accredited technical college or university

Responsibilities
As an Intern, you will be given the opportunity to apply your academic training and skills in a real-world setting at any number of project locations. In addition, you will assist the project manager, project engineer, and the rest of the on-site construction staff in the application of principles, methods, and techniques of engineering technology by performing any combination of the following duties at a project job site.
