About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist in interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
- Perform quantity calculations and compile as-built data
- Prepare work plans and work packages
- Support field surveying and work layout
- Compile and process labor timesheets
- Prepare Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
- Provide solutions related to construction operations
- Participate in safety reviews and toolbox meetings
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups
- Supervise field operations
- Perform material takeoffs and basic engineering calculations
- Aid in preparing purchase orders and subcontracts
- Enter data into the job cost system and review cost reports
- Generate change orders and as-built data
- Support subcontractor operations
- Review and analyze historical data for bidding purposes
- Complete plan and specification reviews
- Takeoff materials and quantities according to bid documents
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
- Experience with leadership and management of people
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Willingness to travel and relocate nationally
- Valid driver's license
- Previous internship experience preferred

Pay
The base compensation for this role ranges from $82,000 to $90,000, with actual compensation varying based on education, experience, and location.
