Field Engineer (Generator)

Responsibilities

• Act as an Owner's Representative / Field Engineer / Technical Advisor on site, supporting generator outage activities for power plant owners and operators.
• Review and assess generator test data and outage inspection findings, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation.
• Demonstrate technical expertise in overhaul practices, NDE inspections, outage QA/QC, and troubleshooting generator and excitation equipment.
• Oversight of generator rotor rewinds at the shop.
• Conduct fact-finding missions to support generator failure analysis.
• Frequent collaboration with ENTRUST generator engineers, and support outage planning remotely when required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of field experience, or related experience, supporting generators.
• Ability to travel and work on client sites and/or generator repair shops for extended periods of time (such as major generator outages and rewinds).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree.
