Responsibilities
- Act as an Owner's Representative / Field Engineer / Technical Advisor on site, supporting generator outage activities for power plant owners and operators.
- Review and assess generator test data and outage inspection findings, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in overhaul practices, NDE inspections, outage QA/QC, and troubleshooting generator and excitation equipment.
- Oversight of generator rotor rewinds at the shop.
- Conduct fact-finding missions to support generator failure analysis.
- Frequent collaboration with ENTRUST generator engineers, and support outage planning remotely when required.
Requirements
- 10+ years of field experience, or related experience, supporting generators.
- Ability to travel and work on client sites and/or generator repair shops for extended periods of time (such as major generator outages and rewinds).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree.
