As an emerging Field Engineer, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning engineering, construction management, and design-build project delivery. We are looking for a passionate Field Engineer to support our project in Spartanburg, SC, who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. You’ll be accountable for interacting with our construction sites, clients, and management to support the planning and technical portion of the project. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Support the planning and technical aspects of construction projects by interacting with construction sites, clients, and management.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to tackle project challenges.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate forward thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a 4-year degree in engineering, construction management, or a relevant discipline.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
- Ability to work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
- Data center experience (preferred).

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $69,500.00 to $95,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
