Responsibilities
- System Performance: Install, commission, and optimize advanced DDC systems, ensuring controls, sensors, and networks meet performance standards.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Use technical judgment to solve automation challenges and mitigate project risks before they impact timelines.
- Technical Leadership: Train owners on system operation and partner with Project Managers to manage risks and improve execution.
- Travel & Growth: Travel as needed and adapt to changing schedules while taking end-to-end ownership of complex projects.
- Project Integrity: Maintain accurate documentation and participate in project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of professional experience in HVAC, Information Technology, or Industrial Networking, including direct experience with IP networking, Modbus protocols, or PLC programming.
- Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
- Able to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods.
- Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.
Qualifications
- Project Ownership: Demonstrated experience in delivering turnkey solutions while independently working with increasing scope complexity and managing resources to meet all milestones.
- Technical Problem Solving: Proactively identifies and resolves system issues using a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical plans.
- Software & Systems: Proficient in loading and configuring building automation software, including trends, alarms, system reports, and end-user training.
- Working Communication: Clearly translates technical project details for customers and maintains disciplined documentation and safety standards.
- Quality & Improvement: Anticipates customer needs and provides feedback on field tools and processes to drive operational efficiency and reliability.
