What You'll Do You'll be based out of our Bakersfield, CA service center and can expect to work in the field with up to 75% travel.Specialize in working on both low, medium, and high voltage switchgear including breakers with relays, motor starters, VFD’s, load break switches, transformers, load banks, and batteries. Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment. Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. You Are High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or trainingProven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design8+ years of formal technical training10+ years’ experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical switchgear, this will include both low volt and medium voltage power distribution gear. Should have knowledge with protection relays and metersPositive, self- starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent qualityValid driver's licenseAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
