About the role
Field Engineers support the identification of quality issues and assist with hands-on root cause analysis, supporting OEM Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier Operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support to dealer technicians and ensure resolution of product technical issues.
- Document findings of each mission and the corrective actions taken.
- Report any shortfalls identified during the mission to the OEM enterprise.
Requirements
- 5 years of automotive experience required, plus Master Technician Certification or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of teaching experience.
- Ability to travel to dealerships within a designated area.
- Ability to communicate technical information to all levels within both the client and dealerships.
- Ability to analyze data and create custom reports.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other customized software.
- Ability to work independently and manage a progressive workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated, adaptive, and autonomous with a results-driven mindset.
