Qualifications
- Two or four-year degree in construction management or related field.
- Some Internship, education or field experience
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Thorough and detail-oriented
- Able to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints
- Self-starter and motivated with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills, including Excel
Preferred
- Demonstrated experience initiating and driving continuous improvement
- Current OSHA 30 certification
Office and Travel
- Office: Various jobsites and/or corporate/regional office.
- Travel: In addition to regional meetings, overnight travel may be involved.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Assist with quantity tracking and verification
- Assist with tracking of materials inventory on the project site
- Assist with Building layout and survey
- Assist with organization, storage and maintenance of tools
- Verify embeds and other constructability related items
- Cook material and equipment delivery
- Assist in writing of Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Assist in Subcontractor management
- Participate in Weekly coordination meetings
- Assist with document management and maintain as-builts
- Conduct site safety audits and participate in site safety meetings
- Daily log – Maintain and manage accurate daily entries
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods of time at employee’s work station and during meetings as well as while traveling, either by plane or car
- Lift up to 20 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects
- Dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse
- Ability to hear and speak clearly
- Ability to distinguish between colors on graphs and charts
- Occasionally visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures
