Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in project management tasks such as engineering, design, and scheduling.
• Assist in the creation of temporary structures like formwork, false work, and shoring.
• Prepare and update schedules, identify critical work items, and compile lists of long-lead items.
• Coordinate survey crew activities and ensure compliance with material deliveries.
• Track quantities, report on project costs, and forecast project expenses.
• Prepare requisitions for equipment and materials, coordinate inspections, and resolve field issues.
• Document project progress through a daily diary and photographs.
• Support project closeout efforts and assist with additional project-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant construction engineering or surveying experience.
• Education in engineering or construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Proficiency in database and project control software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
