Field Engineer 4

Key Responsibilities

• Repair Laptop and Desktop devices within the metro area.
• Perform tasks such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
• Handle whole unit swaps, repairs, or replacements of PC peripherals.
• Service requests in real time using the company-provided Call Management system.

Key Qualifications

• Own reliable car and car insurance.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop repair.
• Break-fix computer-building background preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software, including Microsoft applications.
• Ability to resolve basic/non-complex problems as directed.
• Reliable transportation for extensive driving (up to 2-3 hours).

Vaccination Requirement

Mileage reimbursement is provided per the standard mileage rate. Vaccination is NOT required.

Prescreen Questions

MUST HAVE ON TOP OF EVERY RESUME:

• How many years of Computer Hardware Repair Field experience do you have?
• Within the last 2 years, how many Motherboards have you replaced?
• Within the last 2 years, how many LCD's have you replaced?
• How many years of experience do you have diagnosing Dell laptops and PC's?
• Are you A+ Certified? (A+ certification is required by the client. Selected candidates who do not already have their A+ certification will have 90 days after their start date to become certified, or be subject to termination.)

• Willing and able to comply with business casual dress code (dress pants, collared shirt, dress shoes)?
• Agree to complete Dell certifications before starting work?
