Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary resource for clinical support in the areas of patient selection, basic troubleshooting, device utilization, and patient follow-up for company products.
- Attends patient device implants and performs patient follow-up to assure success of implantation experience.
- Provides external staff education on bandage changes and other product related specifications.
- Provides timely product follow-up and support to patients and physicians and other staff as needed.
- Responds to customer needs and product complaints by developing creative and feasible solutions or collaborating with SPR team members.
- Supports sales representatives by meeting with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them achieve their goals.
- Maintains a working knowledge of SPR products, competitive devices, and new or competitive techniques used in neuromodulation.
- Maintains open, effective communication with all personnel, customers, and other SPR employees.
- Demonstrates an ability to establish relationships with all pertinent account players, including patients, physicians, nurses, administrators, and the sales representatives and other internal team members supporting these accounts.
- May collaborate with internal partners to formally educate and train physicians and hospital/clinic personnel on technical matters relating to SPR products through conducting and coordinating in-person and remote training to include:
- One-on-one in-services
- Staff in-service educational programs
- Seminars and/or workshops for healthcare facilities
- Manages administrative tasks to include timely patient documentation and data collection in Salesforce.
- Maintains a working knowledge of third-party accreditation requirements to ensure full access to each account.
- Complies with all aspects of the Corporate Compliance Program.
- Provides positive and constructive peer to peer guidance.
- May be expected to occasionally assist with cases outside of assigned geographic territories.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- College degree preferred in a clinical or related field.
- Must have experience working with patients preferably in a clinical environment.
- Prioritize 3-5 years of related clinical support experience.
- Proven record of achievement in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and active vehicle insurance policy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including both written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to accept feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Must be flexible for work outside of normal business hours.
- Prior experience in an Operating Room setting strongly preferred.
- Experience working with pain patients.
- Neuromodulation experience.
