Field Clinical Nurse Educator/Oncology - Southeast

Our patient engagement and Clinical Nurse Educator platform delivers personalized, evidence-based human and digital interventions.

The Clinical Educator will utilize professional skills and clinical expertise to train healthcare professionals both in person and virtually on a women’s health oncology therapy. This role will create opportunities for education by reactively calling on pre-approved oncology Centers of Excellence. The educator will build strong relationships and conduct programs with healthcare professionals to increase patient identification, provide a better understanding of the therapeutic initiation process, and offer patients a new treatment option.

Responsibilities

• Train on pre-approved curriculum to a variety of audiences including physicians, office staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Route and schedule activities to reactively call on approved targets.
• Conduct total office calls and/or in-service sessions to educate physicians, nurses, and office staff on topics such as:
  • Patient education and empowerment strategies
  • Patient support programs
  • Product education
• Understand and encourage patient initiation and support processes and strategies for providers and their office staff to influence patient confidence.
• Anticipate and address healthcare professional (HCP) needs.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers, office staff, and local nurse educators.
• Plan, implement, and communicate collaboratively with all field organizations (salesforce, MSLs, FRMs) to meet established business plan objectives, identify collaborative opportunities, and optimize territory plans for results.
• Work and communicate cohesively with territory sales force members to meet area needs, identify collaborative opportunities, and execute territory plans.
• Advise on industry insights and innovative approaches to training curriculum.
• Conduct trainings and submit completed documentation to Momentum in a timely manner.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Momentum, client, and industry-mandated rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current, unrestricted license as a healthcare professional (RN, NP).
• RN, NP, or OCN credential preferred.
• Previous HCP and patient education experience.
• Recent solid tumor experience; women’s health strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and a bias for action.
• Ability to promptly address open-ended questions and provide feedback and solutions to healthcare professionals based on “real world” clinical experiences.
• Presentation and training experience with multiple audiences.
• Proven adaptability to changing business demands and product relevance in a fast-paced environment.
• Competent and comfortable utilizing technology.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Experience working for, or contracting with, pharmaceutical companies preferred.
• Eligible to participate in federal healthcare programs or in federal procurement or non-procurement programs.
• Must have reliable access to the internet.

Schedule

Travel: Up to 75% within assigned territory.

Working Conditions

• Work is generally sedentary but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.
• The working environment is generally favorable, with adequate lighting and temperature, and no hazardous conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
• Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
