Responsibilities

- Site mapping and recording
- Excavation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology or closely related field
- Successful completion of an archaeological field school or field methods course at an accredited university in the United States
- At least 1 year of full-time professional experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree wage range: $25 to $27/hour
- Master’s Degree in Anthropology, and Registered Professional Archaeologist: wage range starts at $30/hour
Benefits
- Paid mileage between ECORP’s closest office and the project location
- Hotel and per diem for overnight stays required
Pay
- Wage rates based on level of education, relevant experience, and quality of references
Schedule
- Work durations range from a few days to four weeks, depending on the project
- Potential for 40 hours a week from June through October
