Responsibilities

  • Construction monitoring
  • Pedestrian survey
  • Site mapping and recording
  • Excavation
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology or closely related field
  • Successful completion of an archaeological field school or field methods course at an accredited university in the United States
  • At least 1 year of full-time professional experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree wage range: $25 to $27/hour
  • Master’s Degree in Anthropology, and Registered Professional Archaeologist: wage range starts at $30/hour

Benefits

  • Paid mileage between ECORP’s closest office and the project location
  • Hotel and per diem for overnight stays required

Pay

  • Wage rates based on level of education, relevant experience, and quality of references

Schedule

  • Work durations range from a few days to four weeks, depending on the project
  • Potential for 40 hours a week from June through October
