Field Appraiser

About the role

The Field Appraiser performs commercial and residential appraisal of improved and vacant land parcels to ensure equitable assessment of all real property in the County.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and measures property to determine property value including type of construction and estimation of depreciation.
• Determines the class, quality, and condition of property.
• Maintains records related to appraisal and property taxation including calculations of land and building areas, land usage, zoning, building areas, zoning, building permits, available utilities and topography.
